QUARANTINE PROCESSING DELAYS

QUARANTINE PROCESSING DELAYS

Dear Valued Customer,

Please be advised that all cargo that is subject to processing of documentation is currently being affected by a delay in Quarantine Processing.

This delay affects any cargo that requires, or has already undergone fumigation, as well as cargo that is subject to quarantine assessment/treatment on arrival.

Until quarantine complete their assessments these containers will remain under quarantine hold.

We have been advised the backlog may continue indefinitely whilst Quarantine deal with the Christmas rush. Considering this information, we recommend lodging documentation at least 10 days prior to arrival in the hope that it can be processed prior to the cargo landing in Australia.

In some instances, we may be required to move cargo under bond from the wharf to avoid wharf storage. If this is the case and your cargo will be affected, we will contact you directly and advise you of the additional costs involved.

We will as always, take all necessary measures to ensure your cargo moves as efficiently as possible.

Please contact your SCORPION representative if you would like to further discuss the contents of this update.

Thank you for choosing SCORPION INTERNATIONAL.
